Support for macOS will not be available starting with the next release of CUDA. My guess, I already said several times is that Nvidia don’t want to support Metal because it’s against their own CUDA business and would bring people choice so use AMD instead of Nvidia.įACT: Nvidia just communicated officially that: CUDA 10.2 (Toolkit and NVIDIA driver) is the last release to support macOS for developing and running CUDA applications. So why the hell don’t do that with Nvidia. Even with Qualcomm when the relationship were like shit, Apple not paying Qualcomm and Qualcomm in a law suit involving with more than a billion sue they settled. This is not Apples fault, they do not need Apple’s help to support RTX in High Sierra and you would not have a 1500€ or whatever being wasted in macOS. (Same shit that people blames Apple for). And of course is legal and reasonable to do it but not this way. But no, they choose not to support them I guess because they wanted to push Apple for Nvidias agenda that is to tie third parties to CUDA. At least make them useful for their customers.
#Mojave nvidia web drivers series
Did you read that? High Sierra already supports CUDA and 1000 GPU series so why the hell did not Nvidia support this RTX GPUS without RTX supports. I spoke about why Nvidia did not support RTX Graphics Card in High Sierra. If you read carefully I would have to write some things I already wrote “again”.įACT: I did not speak about wasting time. I have read very very long post from you just to say the same again and again that could be written in just a few lines. Look Jiren-Ultra-Instincts I don’t really hate you but I do hate your behavior.
